In Viqarunnisa's 2026-27 conditions the real question is not "what GPA" but "which school did you come from". Science asks 5.00 of everyone, but Business Studies asks 3.00 of a girl from the institution's own school and 4.50 of one from outside — a gap of a point and a half. In Humanities the gap is half a point: 3.00 against 3.50.
There are 2,410 places, about 77% of them in Science (1,850 across the Bangla and English versions). Business Studies and Humanities have 280 each. One report puts the total at 2,390 — probably from an earlier year, because the group figures in the 31 August 2026 report add up to exactly 2,410. So 2,390 is not used anywhere here.

Doing the sums as an outside applicant
From an outside school, Business Studies needs a GPA of at least 4.50 — higher than Dhaka City College's morning-shift Science threshold of 4.00. Below that, a Viqarunnisa Business Studies entry on your list achieves nothing.
In Humanities the outside threshold is 3.50, but there are only 280 places and part of them will go to girls moving up from the institution’s own school. Meeting the minimum lets you apply, it does not seat you — so keep safe options lower on the list.
